This arcade is designed around Pole Position, which is one of the most iconic racing games to appear in arcades. The graphics used are true to the original, modified to fit the pedestal cabinet style.

The pedestal build is unique in that you can connect it via HDMI to any TV that has a "gaming" feature (high refresh rates and low input lag are important for games). HDMI passes through audio as well so you don't need a separate speaker - just connect to your TV and go.

This build features a custom control panel configured with a racing wheel, 2 pedals, 6 buttons for each player, Sanwa joysticks, and a LED color-changing 3" trackball. All of the controls are original arcade controls and use 50g or 75g switches depending on your preference (this is the 'actuation pressure' of the buttons and determines how 'soft' or 'clickly' they feel).

The pedals include an accelerator and brake and are custom made. They connect via 3.5mm audio cables making it easy to remove the pedals when you don't need them.

The steering wheel can be removed easily to allow better access to the trackball, and can also be switched on the fly with an arcade spinner for games like Arkanoid and Tempest.

The left side of the cabinet features a 4 to 8 way joystick switcher, which allows you to instantly switch the joystick between 4 directions (for games like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Burger King) and 8 directions (for games that used diagonal controls like Robotron, Street Fighter, etc.). On the right you'll find the exit button and power switching for turning the arcade on and off.

Inside the cabinet there is a custom mini PC, which can also be upgraded to run modern games like Fortnite and Call of Duty.

On the back, you'll find the HDMI port, 2 USB ports. quick-disconnect connections for the pedals, and a power plug.

To enable 4-player fun, you can connect Xbox or Playstation controllers wirelessly. Wii is supported as well with the optional Wii remotes.

This cabinet can also be customized with any graphics and controls. For example, the wheel can be deleted and the trackball can be placed in the center, which is ideal for games like Golden Tee or bowling games.
