Ben has been a technology professional for over 20 years, building software and hardware for companies ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 companies. His background is as a product manager, which means that he's been deeply involved with programming, design, human/computer interaction, and application architecture, as well as all aspects of founding and scaling businesses. His experience spans many industries, including travel, third-party delivery, education, custom manufacturing, and consulting.
He started building arcade machines as a hobby in 2003, and has since built up a huge body of knowledge about arcade hardware, software, and emulators. When he's not in his workshop building arcade machines, you can probably find him troubleshooting a head-scratching tech problem.
Ben grew up on the Main Line, and left for 25 years to explore the rest of the U.S. He landed in Austin, Texas in the early 2000s, right as the Texas tech boom was taking off. In 2022, he moved his family to the amazing community of Harleysville, and has vowed to never leave. Everyone else in the family seems to agree.
